The 1st of May 2023 marked the adoption of the National Construction Code (NCC) 2022 by the states and territories.
Some of the major changes in NCC 2022 are subject to longer transition periods, including:
- livable housing
- energy efficiency and condensation mitigation
- lead free plumbing products.
