"In response to severe flooding experienced by Queensland in the 2021-22 disaster season, the Queensland and Australian Governments have jointly funded a $741 million Resilient Homes Fund to help affected Queenslanders make their homes more resilient to future flooding.
This was the first household resilience program of its kind to ever be offered in Australia and has the potential to change Queenslanders’ lives and the region’s resilience to flooding.
The program will deliver a range of options for eligible Queensland homeowners including retrofitting or raising their home to be more resilient to flooding, in areas of high risk."
