Description
Information about licences and certificates in metal fabrication.
You must have a licence before you do any residential building work in NSW, including metal fabrication, that is valued at more than $5000 (incl GST) in labour and materials.
Metal fabrication is the preparation, making and putting up of metal components in building work.
Scope
Metal fabrication includes, but is not limited to structural steel, handrails, security grilles, fences, gates and balustrades.
Metal fabrication doesn't include roof plumbing or wall cladding.
