SA HB 39:2015 is amended as follows.

Sets out (a) the requirements for the documentation of architectural, structural and construction information necessary for formwork design and construction; (b) architectural requirements and procedures covering the specification of the quality, tolerance, colour, and evaluation of off-form or as-repaired in situ or precast concrete surfaces; and (c) structural requirements that- (i) are critical to the stability, strength and serviceability of the permanent structure during construction and once completed; and (ii) affect the formwork design and construction.

Specifies the requirements for damp-proof course and flashing materials of the sheet membrane, strip and collar type for use in building construction.

Provides requirements for planning, construction, design, casting, transportation, erection and incorporation into the final structure of prefabricated concrete elements in building construction; applies to prefabricated concrete elements including, but not limited to, wall elements, columns, beams, flooring and facade elements used in building construction.

Covering the design and construction of multi-residential, commercial, industrial and public assembly buildings.

Covering the design, construction and maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems in new and existing buildings.

Provides a compilation of all NCC Performance Requirements and the supporting General Requirements.

Covering the design and construction of smaller scale buildings including houses, small sheds, carports and some associated structures.

The purpose of the OGA’s General Design Standard is to formalise a set of objective, minimum provisions for design quality to use in the delivery of all public works.

This Certifier Practice Standard is prepared by the Commissioner for Fair Trading under section 14 of the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018 (B&DC Act); Section 14 provides that a registered certifier’s conditions of registration may require the certifier to carry out certification work in accordance with specified standards or methodologies prepared by the Commissioner.
