Gasfitters Standards

These are the Gasfitters Standards

The Gasfitters set provides essential information relating to gas installations.

Areas covered include the design, installation, and commissioning of commercial, industrial, and domestic gas appliances. Also covered is the servicing of Type A gas appliances.

The Gasfitters set includes both parts of AS/NZS 5601, which is a key standard for gas installations in Australia and New Zealand:

AS/NZS 5601.1:2022 Gas installations, Part 1: General installations, and
AS/NZS 5601.2:2020 Gas installations, Part 2: LP Gas installations in caravans and boats for non-propulsive purposes

The set also includes standards about the assessment of explosive atmospheres, especially where gas or vapour hazards can occur, and also new information about hydrogen.

Available in the Gasfitters set.
