The Practice Standard for Professional Engineers applies to all NSW registered professional engineers; it sets the clear standards of work and behaviour by engineers carrying outprofessional engineering work under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 (DBPAct).

This guide is designed for new supervisors or supervisors looking to gain additional skills.

The responsible person for plumbing and drainage work must ensure the work complies with the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA) and other prescribed codes and standards.

Specifies procedures for the safety inspection and testing of low voltage single phase and polyphase electrical equipment, connected to the electrical supply by a flexible cord or connecting device. It also include procedures for the safety inspection and testing of: Residual current devices (RCDs) except those within the scope of AS/NZS 3003 and NZS 6115; and Portable inverters that generate or produce low voltage.

This Certifier Practice Standard is prepared by the Commissioner for Fair Trading under section 14 of the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018 (B&DC Act); Section 14 provides that a registered certifier’s conditions of registration may require the certifier to carry out certification work in accordance with specified standards or methodologies prepared by the Commissioner.

This Guide is intended to supplement to the "Criteria for the Passive House, EnerPHit and PHI Low Energy Building Standards" ("Criteria") published by the Passive House Institute and posted online; it explains the Criteria's require-ments given here in a brief and precise manner.

Provides workers on low-voltage electrical installations with: (a) the principles of safe working practices; and (b) recommended procedures for safe working practices.

Applies to conventional lightning protection systems consisting of air terminations, downconductors, earthing systems and surge protective devices. Also provides a comprehensive risk management process for the determination of the risk of damage due to lightning for a range of structures.

The NCC is a uniform set of technical provisions for the design and construction of buildings and other structures, and plumbing and drainage systems throughout Australia. It allows for variations in climate and geological or geographic conditions.

Contains the requirements for: Class 1 and 10a buildings, and certain Class 10b structures, and Class 10c private bushfire shelters.
