Adopts ISO/IEC14763-3:2014 to specify systems and methods for the inspection and testing of installed optical fibre cabling designed in accordance with premises cabling standards including ISO/IEC11801, ISO/IEC24764, ISO/IEC24702 and ISO/IEC15018.

AS/NZS 3084:2017 is amended as follows.

Sets out minimum requirements for the design, detailing and construction of simply supported composite beams composed of a steel beam interconnected to a concrete slab by shear connectors, including applications in which the slab incorporates profiled steel sheeting.

Specifies the characteristics, methods of control and test, and acceptance for fibre-cement flat sheets; covers sheets intended for external applications such as cladding facades, curtain walls, soffits, lost casing, and the like, and sheets intended for internal use such as partitions, floors, ceilings, and the like, with a wide range of properties appropriate to the type of application.

Sets out to classify membranes based on elastic properties, which can then be used to give guidance on the type of detailing for a specific membrane referred to in AS 3740.

Specifies procedures for the design and installation of plastic roof and wall cladding materials for walls and roofs.

Sets out requirements for the classification of a site and the design and construction of a footing system for a single dwelling house, town house or the like which may be detached or separated by a party wall or common wall but not situated vertically above or below another dwelling.
