Sets out minimum requirements for the materials, design and installation of waterproofing for domestic wet areas in Class 1, Class 2 and Class 4 buildings as defined in the NCC. It also applies to wet areas within Class 3 to 9 buildings as if it were a Class 2 or 4 part of a building.

This ABCB Standard provides WOH efficiency factors for Class 1 dwellings, Class 2 sole-occupancy units and Class 4 parts of buildings in the energy efficiency provisions of the NCC; It applies in each NCC climate zone and jurisdiction.

The objective of this Standard specifies generic cabling for use within industrial premises, or industrial areas within other types of premises, which can comprise single or multiple buildings on a campus; covers balanced cabling and optical fibre cabling.

AS 3958:2023 provides instructions on the preparation of the background and the bonded fixing and grouting of floor and wall tiles including mosaic tiles and panels.

Contains Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions that are considered to be acceptable forms of construction that meet the requirements for complying with Parts H1 to H8 of NCC Volume Two.
